The Camino Health Center Auxiliary’s 23rd Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, Making a Difference, drew 600 guests to the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in late November for a dose of holiday cheer and a South Coast Plaza-sponsored fall and resort runway presentation of the latest fashions. Nine retailers from the top-drawer retail center showcased men’s and women’s fashions to rave reviews, and, together with 230 silent auction items and five opportunity offerings from South Coast Plaza retailers and Antonello Ristorante, each valued from $4,500 to $4,995, net proceeds reached $430,000, delighting chairwoman Susan Hoffnagle and her committee. The proceeds will continue to provide health care to poverty-level patients at the 25-year-old Camino Health Center, sponsored by Mission Hospital, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.
