Film Fest Fashion

It was quite the party for the opening of the ninth annual Newport Beach Film Festival in late April. Following the screening of Sherman’s Way at Edwards Big Newport, 1,200 partygoers gathered at Fashion Island for the opening night gala, which featured haute cocktails, cuisine and fashion. The first-class runway show, hosted by Fashion Island and Bloomingdale’s, featured snappy spring and summer dressing for both men and women from the esteemed retailer. –Text By Donna Bunce and Photos By Volker Corell
