Row, Row, Row Your Boat
Looking for an upper body workout involving more than push-ups? Check out the San Clemente-based Outdoor Fitness Adventure Club’s new one-hour cardio-kayaking class at Dana Point Harbor. Kayakers use choreographed speed paddling, relay racing, longer rows, and other techniques to work the core, chest, lats, shoulders, and entire upper body. Classes meet at 5:15 p.m. every Thursday, through the end of summer, weather permitting. Some kayaking experience is recommended. $15-$20 for club members and $20-$25 for non-members; fee includes kayak rental and class instruction. (949) 677-9375; www.outdoorfitnessonline.org
