Lighting Innovation and Ketel One Vodka hosted a party in the lighting store’s showroom at the Laguna Design Center in Laguna Niguel. The evening introduced and unveiled their new custom art glass. Andy Stone, the glass artist, was available to discuss his unique product. Explaining her new “goodies” was Judy Ziccardi Matejov, the owner of Lighting Innovation. Pointing to the pieces on the ceiling, she said, “You can use them to decorate a water fixture, your walls, a ceiling. I am going to float a few in my koi pond. Decorative uses are limited only to your imagination.” Store manager Danielle Benaim added, “Every piece is individually blown. The work is extraordinary and colorful.” And so was the party. Guests enjoyed a dinner buffet, a Ketel One ice bar and dancing to live music by Krush, a disco and funk band. --By Ann Chatillon
