Childhelp’s 22nd Annual “For the Love of a Child” fashion show and luncheon, presented by South Coast Plaza under the direction of Kathryn Glassmyer, drew 430 guests to The Island Hotel for a first-class runway presentation of the latest spring and summer fashions for both men and women. For ladies, color was the order of the day with a smattering of black and white as well as floral and geometric prints. Event co-chairs Katherine Meredith and Nancy Whitlock were delighted with more than $150,000 net proceeds for Childhelp’s quest in the prevention and treatment of child abuse. --By Donna Bunce
