More Catwalk

Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza presented a fabulous array of spring fashions for men and women at The Center’s 13th Annual Guilds Fashion Show and Luncheon in early March at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. Greeting the 600 guests was New York Bloomingdale’s Executive Vice President of Public Relations Anne Keating and South Coast Plaza GM Jim Murphy. Honorary Chairman Julia Argyros, who was recognized for her philanthropic efforts in the performing arts and education, was introduced by last year’s honorary chair Elizabeth Segerstrom. The “In Full Bloom” fashion tableau featured many trends, including, for the ladies, lots of color, shine (patent leather, paillettes, metallics), floral and patterned prints, safari influences, maxi dresses, fedoras, and one-shoulder dresses and tops. Over $200,000 was netted for the cause, not including 10% of sales offered Guilds’ members by Bloomingdale’s through the weekend. --By Donna Bunce
