The toothy smile or hopeful look is just the beginning of the sales pitch. The new pet store inside The Shops at Mission Viejo is a whole new approach to what is often an otherwise cruel affair. Adopt & Shop gives shelter animals a second chance at adoption. The cats and dogs have been rescued from local shelters, and all animals in the shop are spayed or neutered, as well as microchipped and vaccinated. Operated by Found Animals Foundation, shop staff work to match the right pet for customer’s needs and lifestyles and offer various resources to help insure a lasting and happy match.
