Dana Point Harbor celebrates its 38th year with boaters from all over Orange County decking their bows and competing for awards like Judges Choice, Best Theme, Best Use of Lights, Best Animation, Most Colorful, Most Original, Best Sailboat, and more.

The parade, with theme this year of Light, Camera, Action – A Hollywood Holiday, is a favorite tradition among locals and tourists alike. The free parade is visible from anywhere in the harbor. Or get in on the action with Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whaling Watching, which offers boat rides on parade nights. ($15 for children and $25 for adults.) The parade takes place Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. and the following weekend on Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m.
