Newport Beach's sculpture exhibition gets new addition

All young Carter Reed seems to care about, though, is that this art is all fun.

The damselfly is an insect that has been around for eons, but this new species by artist LT Mustardseed called “Demoiselle” just lit in Newport Beach, part of the second phase of the Sculpture in the Civic Center Park Exhibition. Born of recycled parts, “Demoiselle” sports a mouth made of the grill off a 1940 Chevy truck, a head from a motorcycle fender, and antennae shaped out of golf clubs. All young Carter Reed seems to care about, though, is that this art is all fun.
