Central Park West, the master-planned residential community at Jamboree Road and Michelson Avenue in Irvine, just off the San Diego Freeway (I-405), held its grand opening in May 2010, signaling its return to the market.
The development by Lennar Corporation was taken off the market while still under construction two years ago when the economy suddenly dipped to levels where residential sales virtually vanished.
Residences now being offered –- lofts, townhomes and flats –- are located in several low-rise buildings arranged around a central park with a fully-equipped clubhouse. In addition, residences are for sale in the twin Astoria high-rise condo towers on the site. Opening prices range from the upper $300,000s to the mid-$600,000s.
