Chamber of Commerce leaders like to call the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade “our postcard to the world.” While much of the nation might be shivering in its white Christmas, we on the coast revel in a bright one. This year marks the 107th celebration, when thousands of festive lights from the more than 100 boats gliding in the harbor join elaborate displays from the bay-front estates, reflecting on the water in a dazzling display. Color, movement, cheer. Let it show, let it show, let it show.
