Hundreds of thousands of delighted fans attended Comic-Con International: San Diego July 18-21. Hordes of humans – living, dead and everything in between – surged endlessly in and around the San Diego Convention Center like army ants.
Those not fortunate enough to purchase one of the 50,000 badges that sold out online in about three minutes were treated to costumed characters of all sorts wandering the area waiting to be photographed.
