A decade after she launched her eponymous home fragrance company with its candles and diffusers, DayNa Decker has become synonymous with luxe scents worth displaying on a table or shelf.
Following that, the line of bath and body products that she debuted in 2009 was so well-received that the posh Spa at Beverly Wilshire began offering the Silken Body Polish, a treatment that uses only DayNa Decker products. Given how much attention the former Ford model has paid to the sensory details – from the sound that her lighted candle makes (yes, sound) to its sophisticated packaging, it’s no surprise that she accords the same to the interiors of the Laguna Beach home she shares with her husband and young children.

The best place to think/imagine in your home Our backyard is very peaceful with lots of tropical plants and a Buddha fountain. It’s a magical place.

Your house is never without… Plants, flowers and lots of sunshine
The fragrances you use in your home It depends on the time of the day and time of the year. My staples are Jacaranda Blossoms, Posy and Soleil.
How you use them All over… I use candles and diffusers. I spray our carpets and sheets. I also add our fragrance to our cleaning products.
The most important lesson learned through work about fragrances at home The fragrance that you clean with will be the one that lingers the most.
What spring is like at home We have lots of fresh flowers and it’s a beautiful time of the year in Laguna.
