With the series standing at 2-2, the Anaheim Ducks throttled the Dallas Stars 6-2 on Friday, April 25 in Anaheim in game five. The Ducks proved more physical and killed 16 penalty minutes on defense.

Bringing back memories of the "Miracle On Ice" in the 1984 Winter Olympics, the Ducks came from behind and with two minutes and 10 seconds left to play in the game, scored two goals to tie Dallas at four all. It took them a little more than 2 1/2 minutes for Nick Bonino to finish off the Stars in overtime: 5-2.

The Ducks took the series 4-2 in Dallas on Sunday, April 27.

Round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs will see the Ducks face the winner of the San Jose Sharks-Los Angeles Kings series. The Sharks lead the series 3-2 but the Kings have won the last two games.
