Green2Go in Brea
Green2Go is the perfect spot to find a delicious and healthy lunch. If you’re looking for a fresh ahi salad, quinoa or a refreshing juice blend, this is the place for you. Green2Go offers fresh farm-to-table ingredients, supporting small, local farmers in the process. The place itself is very warm and welcoming. There are plenty of tables both inside and out, and it’s never too crowded. Each table is adorned with fresh spring flowers – a nice touch. We tried the quinoa salad, which is gluten-free and contains lentils, cucumbers, sun dried tomatoes, grilled artichokes, capers, Kalamata olives, and parsley tossed with homemade dressing. Paired with the Volcano Juice, made with organic carrot, orange, apple, beet, lemon, and ginger, we left feeling incredibly satisfied. :: livegreen2go.com

Early Bird in Fullerton
Early Bird may be humble in appearance, but it is complex in flavor. The combination of fine breakfast and lunch food and fresh organic coffee brings in quite the crowd each week. The cafe prides itself on its fresh and high-quality food and supports locally-grown ingredients from certified sustainable California family farms. All of the menu items are made from scratch; nothing in the kitchen is ever pre-made or frozen. Early Bird offers the perfect balance of healthy and hearty meals to meet everyone’s needs. We tried the fried chicken salad with corn, arugula, radish, poached egg, long beans, and a delicious buttermilk-corn dressing. It’s hard to top. :: earlybirdoc.com

Tender Greens at Irvine Spectrum
Dedicated to using only the finest as well as raw ingredients, Tender Greens is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a fresh, healthy meal. Tender Greens takes quality a step further with beverages. The restaurant looks to local boutique wineries, small microbreweries and organic tea blenders to provide beverages with the same standards as the food. With so many mouth-watering menu items it was difficult to make a selection. We finally decided on the Happy Vegan salad, including farro wheat with cranberry and hazelnuts, quinoa with cucumber and beets, green hummus, tabbouleh, and tender greens, and the rustic chicken soup with potato, carrot, celery, leeks, and thyme. It turned out to be an amazing, completely guilt-free selection. :: tendergreensfood.com
