Liner Love

I have had a long, passionate relationship with eyeliner. There have been good times and bad times, and times we've needed to be apart (specifically after finding some old photos of myself taken in high school). But somehow I've always come back.

What usually brings me back to highlighting my lids is coming upon a liner that I love so much, I use it every day.

One of the reasons I've stopped using previous liners is that I hate needing a sharpener to use them and am always wary of getting a fragment of the eyeliner pencil in my eye after sharpening.

So one of my favorite things about Stila's new Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner is the fact that it doesn't require a sharpener, just twisting. It goes on smoothly, without clumping and stays on all day. While I did notice some creasing, it wasn't anything too serious.

I tried the intense black (it comes in eight shades), and was able to use it alone, with light shadow, dark shadow, whatever. Although I didn't try it, the liner is smooth enough to smudge into a shadow.
