Dana Point Fireworks Extravaganza
Where: Dana Point Harbor
When: 9 p.m.
Take a trip to the beach and tune into 88.5 FM for patriotic music to accompany the fireworks show. A BBQ buffet is available from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa featuring grilled burgers, barbecue chicken and ribs. If you want a unique way to experience the fireworks, take a cruise in the harbor at 7:30 p.m. at Dana Wharf Sportfishing. Cruises cost $79 for adults, $39 for kids ages 3-12 and kids two and under are free.

Huntington Beach Parade and Pier Festival
Where: Huntington Beach Pier
When: Parade from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.
To help you enjoy Fourth of July during the day, Huntington Beach offers a parade starting at 10 a.m. along with a Fourth of July weekend festival. The festival will feature food vendors, live entertainment and exhibitors.

La Habra Annual 4th of July Spectacular
Where: La Habra High School
When: Gates open at 5 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
A variety of food trucks, local nonprofits and vendors will be available at the stadium of La Habra High School. Pre-sale prices are $5 for adults, $3 for children (three to 12 years) and free for children under three. Admission tickets can also be purchased at the day of the event for $7 for adults and $4 for children.

Long Beach BBQ at the Aquarium of the Pacific

Just a short drive out of Orange County, families will be able to witness Long Beach’s fireworks and experience the famous Long Beach Aquarium at night. Cost per person is $12.95, but for a dinner combo ticket the cost will be $27 to $35. Dinner will be ginger mint-infused summer fruit salad, napa cabbage slaw, garlic potato salad, rotelli pasta salad, baby spinach salad, grilled chicken, hamburgers, and hotdogs.

Yorba Linda Annual Fourth of July Spectacular
Where: Yorba Linda Middle School

Anaheim Disney Celebrates American! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky
Where: Disneyland Resort
When: 9:30 p.m.
The Happiest Place on Earth is already known for its fireworks show, so why not gather around and watch a special show on the Fourth of July? California Adventure will also be adding to the World of Color water show with a pre-show dedicated to Independence Day. Tickets will be the normal price ($68 to $100) for entry.

Cypress Fireworks Celebration
Where: Joint Forces Training Base
When: Gates open at 4 p.m.
The celebration will feature a food court, sponsor booths, entertainment, and fireworks. All adults must bring a California driver’s license, a California ID, military ID, or passport. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. It will cost $5 for event parking.

Fullerton Community Festival and Fireworks Show
Where: Fullerton High School Stadium
When:  5-9:30 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.
Even though “safe and sane” fireworks were legalized in Fullerton last election, some still want to relax and have the city do all of the work. Food will be provided by local charity organizations. The event and parking are free.

Irvine 28th Annual Concert on the Green and Fireworks Festival
Where: Irvine High School Stadium
When: Gates open at 3 p.m.
Sponsored by the Irvine Police Association, the event will feature live music by The Derek Bordeaux Group plus field games, prizes and bounce houses for kids. Tickets are $14 for adults, $9 for seniors and children (over 60 and under 13), and kids two and under are free.
