foneBro developer John Templeton, or JT, shows the interface of his app in his Costa Mesa home.

You no longer have to have an iPhone 4 to chat face-to-face with friends on your cell phone. foneBro, based in Newport Beach, is bringing video conferencing to Flash-capable cell phones.

The application uses a low bandwidth, making it easier to use. And you can chat face-to-face with friends, family and strangers from all around the world in real time in just two clicks.

All you need to use the application is a webcam and an Internet connection. The application is now on the Sprint EVO phone, and more phones will support it by the end of 2010.

foneBro also offers a free Facebook app for Facebook users, instant messaging and an away status message to inform your friends when you are not around.
