You may know the name Henrik Fisker from the eponymous car company once based in Orange County. That startup gave us the Karma – a high-end, plug-in electric hybrid beauty – before going belly-up in 2013. (A Chinese conglomerate purchased the bankrupt company and last year announced plans to restart production.) Before that, Fisker (the man) was a designer best known for penning modern classics like the BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB9. His latest work has him partnered with retired GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz for a low-volume, high-performance supercar based on the raucous Dodge Viper. The VLF Force 1 V10 promises greater output than the already potent Viper to the tune of 745 hp and 638 lb-ft. of torque, enough to rocket the VLF Force 0 to 60 mph in a claimed three seconds flat. The VLF interior is also decidedly more upscale, awash in fine diamond-stitched leather, suede and Alcantara. Eye Q | Infiniti Q60
The handsome, all-new 2017 Infiniti Q60 coupe has a rich lineage, dating back to the original smash hit G35 Coupe launched in 2002 and followed by the evolved and equally impressive G37 six years later. The new Q was concocted using a similar formula, promising the same blend of fun driving dynamics, advanced technology, luxurious surroundings and sleek design. The range-topping Q60 will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 capable of 400 hp and 350 lb-ft. of torque. Interior niceties include modern accents like aluminum, black wood and carbon fiber; and options like red or white leather with contrast stitching. Pricing has not been announced.
