Mike Conway won the 40th Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in a crash-riddled Indy Car race. He finished the 157-mile race, averaging over 82 mph, to claim the checkered flag, the podium, the trophy, and the victory lap. Gabby Chaves claimed victory in the Indy Lights competition. Thousands of race fans enjoyed bright sunshine, endured ear-shattering noise and watched a variety of race vehicles ranging from Indy Cars to trucks streak around the 1.7-mile course during the three-day event, April 11-13.
