With the fate of the environment seeming to rest on every decision we make, it’s no wonder that consumer products and services have changed into drastically different entities than what they once were.

Even car wash services are getting in on the action. And it’s a good thing, since up to 140 gallons of water are used when you wash your car at home, not to mention the countless harmful chemicals deposited into the ocean at every wash.

Fortunately, there’s a new innovation in car washing growing in Southern California, including Orange County.

H2Go Express Car Wash is leading the way for more eco-friendly car washes. With a location already in Norwalk, this phenomenon is expanding to Westminster and Huntington Beach in 2013.

How is H2Go different? It recycles 90% of the water used during every wash and only uses about 12 gallons of fresh water per wash. That’s less water than you use washing your colored load. On top of all this, the chemicals used to wash cars in H2Go are biodegradable. So the chemicals which do leave the car wash will not leave any permanent marks on our planet.

The H2Go system is also fast and affordable. The wash takes only five minutes to complete and includes optional use of the vacuum. Prices range from $5 for the basic wash to $14 for the premium wash.

Look for new locations in the coming months on Westminster Boulevard in Westminster and on Edinger Avenue in Huntington Beach.
