In the later part of November, we had 80-degree weather - but warm Southern California conditions don't mean you have to miss out on winter traditions like ice skating.

Throw on your shorts and tank top and instead of hitting the beach, hit Irvine Spectrum Center’s outdoor ice rink. Open now through February 20, enjoy a 75-minute session on the 47-by-72-foot rink or book private lessons, a party or group event.

Sessions are available from Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for $12, including skate rental or from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and holidays for $14. And season passes are also available for $199, including skate rental and admission for the season, excluding holidays, or $299 for skate rental and admission with no blackout dates.
