Newport Beach dog food kitchen JustFoodForDogs strives to increase the quality and length of a dog's life through balanced, human-grade meals cooked fresh daily. And to help continue keeping Orange County dogs healthy, JFFD welcomes Dr. Oscar E. Chavez as staff veterinarian and professor of canine clinical nutrition. He will lead the team in developing new, customized recipes for dogs with special needs.
“Over half of the dogs in this country experience some form of health issues and many of these can be addressed through diet," says Chavez. "Canine nutrition is of the utmost importance in both keeping your dog healthy and when their health is challenged... Our team works in conjunction with our client’s veterinarian and we have successfully addressed obesity, digestive disorders, pancreatitis, cancer, food allergies, diabetes, liver, and kidney disease."
