The saying “pretty is as pretty does” was never more true than describing the dozen young women honored at the Laguna Chapter of National Charity League’s 27th annual Debutante Ball at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.
Having logged more than 3,600 hours volunteering in South County communities and serving in NCL since the sixth grade, the young women returned to Orange County from college and various other endeavors around the country to be presented in a time-honored tradition at the formal ball dressed in white ball gowns, surrounded by family and friends. Honorees were: Morgan Byrne, Olivia Cimo, Olivia Clark, Madison Davis, Morgan Higgins, Olivia Keane, Alana Mellgren, Kaylie Monahan, Sophie Pieri, Emily Roy, Lauren Smith and Kristen Walker.
“These young women have wholly embraced the spirit of NCL with their dedication and commitment to our philanthropies,” said Lisa Traylor, president of the NCL Laguna chapter. “These accomplished young women are on their way to exciting and successful futures as confident, well-rounded and socially aware contributors to their communities.”
