Crayons for the Makeup Drawer

Every now and then I fall in love. Absolutely, positively, madly... It happens so very rarely, that when it does, it's something to be shared.

Of course, my most recent infatuation – with Bobbi Brown Lip Crayons – was a fleeting affair because almost as soon as they graced my lips, I found out they were limited edition. But who says fairy tales are just for kids?

Because other Bobbi Brown enthusiasts who couldn't imagine living without the pocket-sized crayon-inspired pencils of color pleaded enough, Bobbi Brown brought the Lip Crayons back permanently as part of the Ivy League Collection for fall 2009.  

The Lip Crayons come in six colors: Honeysuckle, Coral Pink, Raisin Berry, Posey, Dusty Nude, and Wild Rose. You'd think that something basically requiring a pencil sharpener to work would be drying and flakey on the lips, but it's quite the opposite. The lip color goes on like your typical lipstick and stays on – though you may have to reapply after eating. The great thing about the Lip Crayon is how it combines the attributes of a lip liner into a lipstick, so that you draw on your lip color exactly how you want it.
