If you're one of those women who applies makeup everywhere except in front of the bathroom mirror, consider Too Faced's Lashlight mascara, equipped with mirror and built-in LED light. I personally didn't have much use for the light since I'm not someone who enjoys applying mascara while driving, while in a dimly lit parking lot or in some other dark, scary place; however, I did like the mascara itself. It built up my lashes easily and effectively.
And while on the topic of enjoyable mascaras, Lancome Paris's new Definicils Precious Cells High Definition Amplifying Mascara hit success as soon as it touched my lashes. It felt like the mascara was doing something good for my lashes in addition to making them look pretty.
With ingredients like madecassoside for strengthening, arginine amino acid for nourishing and "precious plant cell extract," the mascara helps regenerate lashes and reduce lash fallout during makeup removal, with resulting fuller, stronger lashes, according to Lancome.
After several days of application, I noticed less clumping than with other mascaras and my lashes looked more moisturized while wearing it.
Lashlight available in Patent Black for $25 at toofaced.com; Definicils Precious Cells available in both black and brown for $29 at lancome-usa.com
