Karl Lagerfeld is the pinnacle of luxe style. While helming the most renowned fashion houses in Europe might be enough of a commitment for most mortals, Lagerfeld recently announced he is now branching into interior design. The 82-year-old style icon is partnering with Eddie and Jules Trump (no relation to The Donald) to design the chic new lobbies at The Estates at Acqualina. The project is expected to reach completion by 2020, but the two 50-story towers are starting to sell out fast. The 265 units are priced from $3.9 million to $9 million. Interested in one of the penthouses? It’s up for a cool $40 million.
Boasting that Karl Lagerfeld designed your entrance might be enough for the fashion set. But tech-savvy buyers will drool over the opulent amenities. Simulators featuring F1 racecars, FlowRider surf pads and lush golf courses are only the beginning. With an indoor skating rink, dog park, basketball court, state-of-the-art Wall Street trading room and beachfront restaurant, why bother leaving the building?
