Tony Bennett sure knows how to turn 90. The singer is celebrating his recent birthday with a national tour that includes Orange County. Expect an evening of stylish interpretations of the American songbook October 23 at Segerstrom Center. If that’s not enough for Bennett fans, there’s plenty more ahead: His new book, “Just Getting Started,” pays homage to the people who have influenced his life (and publishes in November). And his recent star-studded tribute concert (including Lady Gaga, Billy Joel, Aretha Franklin, and Elton John) at Radio City Music Hall was recorded for both a CD and an NBC special in December. No wonder people are dubbing this “The Year of Tony Bennett.”
