Roar in 2014 at The Melting Pot
Party like it’s 1920 with The Melting Pot. The fondue restaurant hosts a Gatsby-style event, Roar in 2014. Dine on a set menu that includes items like black truffle cheddar cheese fondue, lobster tail and De-lovely Dessert dip like caramel toffee crunch chocolate. Food will be accompanied by a menu of themed cocktails like a Speakeasy Smash, Swanky Doll, Bootleg Bramble, Sparkling Sidecar, and Debonair Derby. Enjoy a complimentary sparkling wine or cider toast and take home an MP Champagne flute, Dip Cards and party favors. Guests are encouraged to wear Gatsby garb with prizes awarded to best dressed couple/family.
First prize is a $100 Melting Pot gift certificate; second prize is a $50 Melting Pot gift certificate as well as raffle prizes for Melting Pot goodie gift baskets.

New Year’s Eve at the St. Regis
The St. Regis Monarch Beach is also having a New Year’s Eve party a la Gatsby. Spread over two ballrooms, The Great Gatsby-themed event will feature live music from the Flashback Heart Attack band, culinary stations and themed cocktails like mint julep or gin fizz available at any of the full bars open throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to dress in 1920s-style finery to ring in the new year. They’ll also be entered for a chance to win a four-night stay at the St. Regis Princeville, Kauai. Cocktail event tickets are $100 and include 10:30 p.m. entry to the event, three complimentary drinks and access to DJ, band and dancing. Full event tickets are priced at $175 and include early 8 p.m. entry, DJ, dancing, band, three complimentary drinks, and full access to all food stations.
