Coming Up Roses

The storied diptique brand began with three friends in 1961. Each of the founders loved the arts. One was a painter, one an interior designer, and the last a theater director and set designer. The partners opened their first shop in Paris at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain, to display their designs. The intimate setting became a stylish bazaar of fabrics and wallpaper. To honor its roots and love for intriguing collaborations, diptyque partnered with Antoinette Poisson, the creator and restorer of domino paper. Poisson designed two exclusive motifs to decorate the limited edition Rosa Mundi collection. The scented candles and fragrances combine the essence of Damask and May roses with bergamot top notes and hints of sweet lychee. $65 for 6.5 oz.
