Kirsten Prosser’s vintage fashion boutique in Corona del Mar featured a stunning trunk show of Versace 2009 Fall/Winter fashions, courtesy of Versace, South Coast Plaza. The fashion house’s daywear features the same amazing fabrics, fit and sexiness for which the label is known. Minus a lot of bling, but with the Versace touch, the collection’s liquid, slinky dresses, decorated coats and super skinny cargo pants (leave it to Donatella to make a cargo pant look sexy) were very well received. Metallics, especially the midnight blue, caught the eye, as did the shimmery silver metal belts. The “Reve” handbag, shown in many colors, drew raves, as did the “DV Rose” ankle strap, peep-toe platforms.
