Max Bloom’s Cafe Noir
If you are fascinated by post-WW2 film noir, iconic films such as Double Indemnity or The Maltese Falcon, the atmosphere of Max Bloom’s Cafe Noir is sure to attract your attention. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8-10 p.m., Cafe Noir hosts an open mic session for music, spoken word and poetry, and Fridays, from 7-10 p.m., they host Stand Up Comedy only. Enjoy delicious coffee for under a dollar while lounging around in ‘40s decor, enjoying music, poetry, comedy, dance, and any other hidden talent an audience member might have. Mexican restaurant Taco Rosa is inviting talent of every kind: singers, musicians, poets, artists of all ages from Orange County, Los Angeles and even San Diego counties for open mic night, held every Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Enjoy their delicious churros as you witness some of Southern California’s greatest hidden talent. The Gypsy Den
Anaheim’s Gypsy Den hosts open mic night every Wednesday starting at 8 p.m. Gypsy Den requires you to show up half an hour before the show to sign up, and performances usually run until about 10 p.m., depending on the number of performers that night.
