Things got dark at Laguna Beach’s Festival of Arts with the opening of the special event, Pageant of the Monsters, on October 25. With wandering zombies and Halloween side show attractions leading up to a haunted house – featuring deadish passengers of a doomed luxury cruise ship – the event is a fun melding of artistry and spookiness.
The event continues October 26, 27 and 31 from 6-9:30 p.m. and is family-friendly, but not recommended for children under 5. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Guests in costume are not allowed, but children 12 and under may come in costume on October 31.
