This season's cocktails at Fullerton's HopScotch Tavern are served with an infusion of pirate.
As far as job titles go, HopScotch’s James Wood has one of the best: Director of Libations. But just because his job revolves around spirits doesn’t mean he isn’t hard at work creating the Fullerton tavern’s constantly rotating menu of seasonal cocktails.
This season’s theme? “This menu’s cocktails are named after all things pirate, using lesser-known spirits,” says Wood.
Interesting. That would entirely explain The Norrington, our favorite fall-spiced cocktail from Wood’s menu.

1 oz. lime juice
1 oz. basil-infused simple syrup
2 bar spoons Allspice Dram
