It’s Man vs. Maki sushi as RA Sushi hosts its college basketball-inspired eating contest, Sushi Showdown. Twelve competitors will compete in two heats in round one, eating as many Tootsy Maki rolls in three minutes as they can. The top three from each heat will make it to the championship round, in competition for the grand prize of free sushi for a year ($600 in RA Sushi gift certificates). Second place will score a $100 gift certificate, third place a $50 gift certificate and fourth place a $25 gift certificate. All participants will receive a free appetizer or a free lunch card and a RA Sushi sweatband. Advance registration is required.
Spectators can enjoy $7 Tokyo Tussle rolls and Rim “RA”ackers, $6 Throwdown rolls and Half Court Bombs and $5 Free Throw Bombs.
