Juice: a favorite addition to many a breakfast and a significant part of the health food craze. With 100% organic juices flying off the shelves, it’s no surprise that Ritual Wellness, an Irvine-based juice brand started by detox experts Lori Kenyon Farley and Marra St. Clair, is skyrocketing in sales.

Now, the purveyors of this delicious, yet healthy, juice are on a new endeavor: writing a book. Kenyon Farley and St. Clair’s book, The Ritual Reset Juice Cleanse Diet, aims to teach readers the art of detoxing their bodies through the “reset” program.

But what does “resetting” the body look like? Kenyon Farley and St. Clair explain to readers that resetting the body is not as easy as, say, resetting your phone. In order to reset your body, you must replace the processed foods and drinks at the grocery store with all-natural substances, like those in Ritual Wellness juices.

The Ritual Reset Juice Cleanse Diet is a groundbreaking plan for returning you to optimal health and fitness without depriving your body of the nutrients it needs or disrupting your daily routine,” Kenyon Farley says.

The idea began when these friends and workout partners discovered the raw juice cleanse craze in 2008. Each of these women had her own reason to seek healthier alternatives: for St. Clair, it was the diagnosis of Celiac disease, otherwise known as gluten intolerance. For Kenyon Farley, it was a long run with antibiotics that left her feeling sluggish and bogged down. It wasn’t long before the pair decided to begin their own healthy juice brand in the hopes of bringing this breakthrough into the public sphere.

With body detox and health in mind, this dynamic duo has been very busy promoting the juice and working on the book. The company’s first location, Ritual JuiceBox, opened in 2012 at The CAMP in Costa Mesa and has been so successful that a second retail store just opened in May within CDM Fitness in Newport Beach.

On top of the health goals set forth by Ritual Wellness, the pair also cares about the environment. Besides being 100% USDA certified organic, Ritual Wellness products also come in BPA-free bottles, making this product good for you and good for the planet.

Keep on the lookout for Kenyon Farley and St. Clair’s book, slated for a launch date in December 2013.
