Astronauts are no longer the only ones who get to explore space thanks to the Boeing Rocket Lab at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana.
The Boeing Rocket Lab, which opened July 2, 2010, is the first exhibit inside the center's giant cube.
Now a permanent part of the museum, the exhibit includes the Blast Off Zone, where you can see the booster engine for the Delta Rocket RS-68; the Nozzle Chamber, where you can learn about the gases needed to make a rocket launch; the Rocket Fuel Chamber, where you can learn about the different rocket fuels used; and the Rocket Launch Station, where you can experiment with rockets.
