After a 30-year hiatus, the Sawdust Art Festival clothing guild is reviving the Sawdust Fashion Show on Wednesday, August 29 at 3 p.m. on the Grill Stage. A group of clothing and textile artists, led by Michelle Holt, will present three looks each, evoking the shows of Sawdusts past.
“[The fashion shows] were wildly popular and successful in their golden age of production,” says longtime Sawdust exhibitor Dion Wright, “the sophistication of the styles is even better nowadays.”
The runway will feature the works of Olivia Batchelder, Debra Covern, Leila Ehdaie, Helen McNamara, Michelle Lance, Sue Winner, and Ket Youngstead.
