An international fusion of talent and performances is to be expected at the 11th Annual International Festival hosted by Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo. Performers include Chinese, Mexican, Pacific Islander, Sudanese, Tahitian, Japanese, Indian, and Cambodian dance groups, as well as hip-hop dancers and a performance by a local high school choir.

Part of Orange County’s Imagination Celebration, the festival will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. With over 900 musicians and dancers and 200 nonprofit vendors and businesses expected, the festival is a great way to spend the day with friends and family of all ages and tastes. Food from around the world, games, performances, art exhibitions, ceramic sales, and a bounce house for children will all be available.

Admission to the festival is free of charge and parking rates range from $10 for parking on campus to free if you park at the Ziggurat in Laguna Niguel and allow a shuttle to transport you to the campus. The shuttle will begin operating at 10 a.m. and is expected to run every 30 minutes until the end of the festival.

Volunteers are needed at the festival, and will receive a free T-shirt and parking pass for their time. Sponsor and banner opportunities are also available for those interested in donating.
