Calling all OC foodies! The weekend of June 16 is your chance to sample the best in cuisine and cocktails Orange County has to offer as Verizon Wireless Amphitheater hosts Taste of Orange County, a special five-star culinary festival.
The two-day event will feature cooking demos with some of Orange County’s top chefs like Montage Laguna Beach’s Rob Wilson, Pascal Olhats of Pascal Restaurants, Michael Rossi of The Ranch Restaurant, Jonathan Blackford of A Restaurant, Tamarind of London‘s Shachi Mehra, Patrick Glennon of Santa Monica Seafood, and Greg Daniels from Haven Gastropub.
More than 50 other restaurants and wineries are expected to participate in the festival, including K’ya Bistro, House of Big Fish, The Cellar, Andreis Conscious Cuisine, and more.
And the Taste of Orange County supports the Orange County Food Bank, an organization that distributes nearly 20 million pounds of food annually, as well as the Culinary Liberation Front, a growing group of OC chefs working to shrink the restaurant industry's environmental footprint.
Other activities include wine tasting, seminars and live music plus OC Cocktail Classic, local fine art from Art á la Carte, a Craft Beer Tasting with more than 20 top micro-brews, and the Great OC Farm Dinner that creates dinner from local sustainable sources and pairs it with premium wine.
