World Tea Expo was held at Long Beach Convention Center May 29-May 31, 2014. The United States tea industry is estimated to exceed $8 billion this year and continues to rapidly expand, according to worldteaexpo.com. Specialty and premium teas are driving the market with nearly 60% of market share. More than 260 tea producers and suppliers from over 50 countries shared their products with over 4,000 attendees. The Expo is open to retailers, tea or coffeehouse owners, restaurants, hotels, chefs, grocery stores, convenience stores, foodservice professionals, and dieticians.
