The East has met the West on many fronts, and on March 5, they’ll come together in the name of music and medicine. East-West Fusion: Music Without Borders, hosted by the Susan Samueli Center for Intergrative Medicine at UC Irvine, will present a night of musical synthesis with proceeds benefiting the center’s clinical care and education programs.
For one night only, Irvine Barclay Theatre will bring eclectic music act The Tehran Project to Orange County for their United States debut. The group, which blends classical Persian music with elements of jazz, flamenco and Western classical music, features accomplished violinist and Orange County native Linling Hsu.
