The Catch in Anaheim (714.935.0101, catchanaheim.com) will serve a bountiful Thanksgiving buffet from noon to 7 p.m. Included will be traditional holiday favorites, plus a beef-carving station, chilled seafood and an array of fall desserts. Adults, $39.95, children, $15.

Laguna Sapphire (949.715.9888, sapphirelaguna.com) offers the option of dining in, or ordering a 10-item Thanksgiving Meal to Go for $345, plus tax (949.715.9889). The three-course, prix-fixe dinner will be served from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. with the price determined by the entrée chosen, exclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity. A children’s menu will also be available.

One new and one traditional brunch item are on the menu at Old Vine Café at The CAMP (714.545.1411, oldvinecafe.com). New is the rabbit mole featuring a braised rabbit, two eggs, pasilla and cashew mole, and freshly baked corn bread ($14.50). Old, but new again, is the seasonal morning favorite, pumpkin pecan French toast garnished with whipped cream ($13.50).

Z’Tejas (714.979.7469, ztejas.com) has a new list of unique libations, such as the spicy chipotle mandarin margarita and perfect puree chipotle sour. “Skinny” cocktails include a new strawberry mojito. The trendy Ecco Domani Moscato can be ordered as a wine solo, or in the new white sangria.
 
Tune into “The SoCal Restaurant Show,” a new weekend broadcast at 10:30 a.m. on AM 830 KLAA. Hosted by renowned Pan-Asian Chef Jet Tila, the opening chef at Wazuzu at The Encore in Las Vegas, and currently at The Charleston in Santa Monica, the 90-minute interactive show covers Chef Tila’s global food knowledge and interviews with top celebrity chefs and food personalities.

During NFL games on Monday and Thursday, Islands Restaurants (islandsrestaurants.com) extend their happy hour specials. Handcrafted beers, tropical drinks and appetizers, including sliders and fries, are priced under $5. During the NFL Sunday Ticket, that’s every out-of-market game every Sunday in HD, food and drink specials are served all day in the bar. A new, 576 calorie Beach Bowl, made with chicken or Mahi Mahi and brown rice, is priced at $9.49.

Teatro ZinZanni’s new show, Love, Chaos & Dinner, now at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts through December 31, engages and delights guests with cirque, comedy and cabaret, paired with an imaginative five-course meal and libations by Patina Catering (patinagroup.com). Bistro le Crillon in Eastbluff Village Center (949.640.8181, bistrolecrillon.com) has been awarded its final Organic Certification from the USDA, making it the only restaurant in Orange County with a Certified Organic Kitchen. In celebration of the honor, Chef/Owner Chantal Berton de Crillon has launched Chantal’s Kitchen Organic Jams and Jellies that retail from $9.95 to $11.95 and can be found at the restaurant, Whole Foods Market and on amazon.com.

As part of the Holistic Nutrition Program at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Chef Jenny Ross of 118 Degrees restaurants (714.754.0718, 118degrees.com or jennyrosslivingfoods.com) will serve as instructor for a four-week online course in raw foods. Ideal for those who cannot attend her classes in Orange County, no prerequisites are needed for her Raw Foods Cuisine class, and can be taken independent of the entire program.

Seasons 52 at South Coast Plaza (714.437.5252, seasons52.com) has announced the appointment of Hung Tram as the new executive chef/partner and Harry Lucho as managing partner.
