California Wine Month
:: discovercaliforniawine.com

September is California Wine Month – and though Orange County may not have the sprawling vineyards of Italy, it does have a lot of great local wines readily available. In celebration of the month, soak up the flavors of California and discover a locally produced wine.

Newport Beach Vineyards and Winery
This winery is tucked away near the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve. Solar panels and a 1,000-square-foot underground wine cave make this local winery a friend of the earth. The solar panels provide power and the cave utilizes the earth’s natural insulation.
