Shine those Stormtrooper helmets, iron out your Bat emblems and put on a smile – Wizard World is coming to Orange County April 16-18, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con is a joyous reunion of comic books, science fiction, toys, and other alternative pop culture. Expect a large variety of speaker panels and feature films to astound and entertain your inner nerd. Meanwhile, a large showroom filled with industry companies and dealers will present its products, collectibles and greet the fandom. Many will frolic in elaborate costumes, so bring a camera or better yet, dress up and join them.
The guest list in development is quite amazing. Many well-known comic book writers and artists will appear, including Swamp Thing co-creator Bernie Wrightson and legendary cover artist (Judge Dredd, Lobo, Heavy Metal Magazine) Simon Bisley. Also, many familiar celebrities are set to attend including William Shatner, Eliza Dushku, Adam West, and many more.
WWACC is a part of the long-run series of Wizard World conventions spanning across the U.S. for over a decade. Its name stems from its creators at Wizard Magazine, a long-running comic book/alternative pop culture magazine. This year in Anaheim is its first in Orange County, a spot long overdue for a serious geek-out of this magnitude.
