f you're looking for home design ideas, you won't want to miss seeing the 2008 Philharmonic House of Design, decorated by 27 members of the American Society of Interior Designers.
The annual event -- which runs through May 18 and raises money for the Philharmonic's Youth Music Programs -- is showcasing interior design and landscaping design works in a new home by Stonefield Development.
The house features a separate guest suite, artist loft, billiards room, game room, office, library, infinity pool, an outdoor kitchen and many loggias. There's also an onsite cafe and boutique carrying anything from home decor items to jewelry, clothing and children's items for your shopping pleasure.

Tickets are $35 per person; a Special Design House Pass for unlimited entry per person is $45 at the door. Parking is free and a complimentary shuttle service is available at Mariner's Church (5001 Newport Coast Drive, Irvine; Tuesday-Saturday) and at Tarbut V' Torah (5 Federation Way, Irvine; Sundays only). The House of Design is open Tuesday-Sunday except Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., with last entry at 4 p.m.; and Thursday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., with last entry at 8 p.m. The house is closed Mondays.
