El Viento Foundation, a Huntington Beach-based service organization that provides academic and enrichment programs to school-age children and young adults in the highly Hispanic, low-income neighborhood of Oak View in Huntington Beach, held its fourth annual Golf Classic and netted more than $60,000 for the cause. The tournament, presented by Meruelo Enterprises, drew 120 golfers, who enjoyed a day of play, an exciting live auction and raffle. Among attendees were Bonnie Roohk, left, a member of the Golden West College Foundation and an Eagle sponsor of the tournament, and Mary Baley, right, a member of the Noon Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, which provided several volunteers for the event.^ Show Info ^
